Emergency Expo June 20: Helicopters, Fire Trucks, and Horses, Oh My!
From Peoria County Communications Helicopters, Fire Trucks, and Horses, Oh My! These and much more will be at Peoria County's Seventh Annual Emergency Expo on Wednesday, June 20 at the Shoppes at Grand Prairie from 4:00 - 7:00pm. Rain date is June 21, same time and location. Over twenty local emergency response agencies will display their emergency equipment in the parking lot along War Memorial Drive for the public to explore & experience, free of charge.

UPC Discovery still has afternoon preschool spots open. UPC Discovery engages children’s minds through active and investigative play, children’s hearts through faith-based activities and Godly Play, children’s curiosity through nature activities and inviting nature into the learning environment, and children’s imaginations through music, drama, and the visual arts. Water Fun in the Tri-counties
Splash in some water to beat the summer heat! Some of my mommy friends have been doing the rounds at the local water attractions. Below are some of the most popular. Santa Fe Park's Splash Pad in Chillicothe is the newest water attraction in the area. Plus, the train engine playground nearby is a hit, too! Harry La Hood Park in Washington has an awesome water play area with sprayers, sprinklers, and fountains.
