Here are 12 ideas for 12-12-12. I don't know if we'll complete everything on 12-12-12, but we'll try. Feel free to improvise with your own ideas. If you forget to do these on 12-12-12, some ideas can be modified to 25 on Christmas Day. Have fun!

Festival of Lights-East Peoria, Illinois (FOLEPI) Kids will enjoy the Winter Wonderland, which runs until Dec 31.The almost 2-mile drive-through electric park is the Festival of Lights' signature event! Folepi's Winter Wonderland features the majority of the Parade of Lights floats and many other lighted displays.
The Stocking Stuffer Store is for children ages 12 and under to shop (with the assistance of a volunteer) for holiday presents for parents, grandparents, siblings - whomever they wish - while parents relax in a seating area located outside the store. Gifts range from $1 - $8. More than 2,000 shoppers from Peoria and the surrounding committees shopped at the “kids only” store in 2011. The Stocking Stuffer Store is the only store of its kind open to the public in the Peoria area – truly a staple in central Illinois.
If you’re looking for enrichment classes for your little ones, check out the programs below. These programs are for babies to elementary school-age kids. Some may have all ready started, but they may still accommodate you, if there’s room. Also, when the grandparents ask what the kids want for Christmas, suggest an enrichment class. The grandparents chipped in for Kindermusik classes for my own kids in the past as a Christmas gift. My kids loved it! Below are links to various programs.

On Saturday, December 1st from 2:00-5:00 PM at the United Presbyterian Church, you are invited to experience Bethlehem when Jesus was born. This is an event for all ages. You’ll see the church Fellowship Hall and adjoining rooms transformed into first-century Bethlehem. You can register for Caesar Augustus’s census and get a special “I Registered” sticker. You can step into the synagogue and learn the story of the dreidel, make your own, and play the dreidel game.
