Corn Stock for Kids Summer Workshop offers children and teens ages 7-18 a chance to learn
all about theatre--from singing, dancing and acting, to the wide variety of opportunities available backstage.
Our fun-filled classes pack a lot of learning into three days. The performance-based format gives kids a taste of what it’s like to be in a show, offers fun classes that enrich creativity and expression, and provides opportunities to form new friendships. Sessions run from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. daily, and each age specific group’s activities will revolve around a Broadway musical.
The theme this year is “Broadway Today”, which will focus on recent musicals that have been performed on Broadway. Participants will work with some of the most talented individuals
in the Peoria area.
The workshop is topped off with a performance for family and friends under the Corn
tent at 6:00 p.m. on Stock tent at 6:00 p.m. on Stock Wednesday, July 27.
Tuition is $45 for member ($55 for non-members) with a $5 discount for each additional sibling. You can download a form off the website, and pay for the workshop on line.
